We gather together as a community every Sunday morning on the Lord’s Day. The order of our Sunday service (or “liturgy”) reflects the gospel message itself, as we move from praising God using songs old and new, to confessing our sins, to hearing assurance of forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ. We learn from God’s Word, pray, observe the sacraments, and are sent out into the world to serve God and bless others.
Observing the Lord’s Day each Sunday helps us to celebrate and remember all that Jesus has done for our redemption and renewal.
We apply ancient truths of Scripture to current issues and challenges, in order to prepare God’s people to live faithfully in the world right now. And we sing modern songs alongside the great hymns of the faith, believing the Holy Spirit continues to equip musicians and songwriters to create new praises for the people of God. In doing so, we remind ourselves that our faith is just as relevant now as in ages past.
